Our Area Forum has now completed its initial stages of consultation on what residents might want
‘TO MAKE YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD A BETTER PLACE’
Many suggestions have already been put forward and a list of the TEN most popular ideas have been incorporated into a potential project list which is available on the South Ribble Borough Council web site @
The list is not to be considered as ‘cast in stone’ but rather a live document which might be changed as other and more perhaps more popular ideas come forward. As yet no firm details have been brought forward with regard to any of the suggestions and funding will also be required to be obtained in order to deliver the projects going forward.
RESIDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO CONTINUE TO BE INVOLVED WITH THIS INITIATIVE BY SUGGESTING POTENTIAL LOCATIONS/IDEAS NOT ONLY WITH REGARD TO THE TEN MOST POPULAR SUGGESTIONS BUT ALSO ANY NEW IDEAS THAT THEY MIGHT HAVE WITH REGARD TO PROJECTS AIMED AT DELIVERING NEIGHBOURHOOD IMPROVEMENTS
THE PARISH COUNCIL HAS ALREADY IDENTIFIED THE POTENTIAL FOR:
A WAR MEMORIAL TO BE LOCATED IN THE VILLAGE HALL GROUNDS
A WILDLIFE AREA TO BE CREATED AT THE FAR END OF THE RECREATION GROUND
ENVIRONMENTAL AND VISUAL IMPROVEMENTS TO THE LOCAL SHOPS AREA
THE PARISH COUNCIL ARE ALSO INTERESTED TO KNOW WHAT YOU THINK OF THESE SCHEMES AND WHAT OTHER IDEAS YOU MIGHT HAVE EVEN IF AT THIS STAGE THERE IS NO SPECIFIC PLAN
YOU MAY SEND YOUR SUGGESTIONS DIRECT TO SRBC FOR CONSIDERATION OF INCLUSION ON THE SRBC NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN
YOUR PARISH COUNCIL WOULD HOWEVER ALSO LIKE TO KNOW WHAT YOU THINK
PLEASE LET US KNOW BY CONTACTING THE CLERK TO THE PARISH COUNCIL
