Residents of Hutton will no doubt be aware of the works which are taking place around Preston and which currently affect Hutton due to major construction which is taking place on this side of the Ribble Estuary - there are and will continue to be a significant number of vehicle movements for some time in connection with these works. Hutton Parish Council are in contact with Untied Utilities who have made a number of presentations at recent Council Meetings. Below are some of the key dates relating to vehicular movements in the Hutton area.
Extension of the working area and construction of the drive pit on this side of the estuary will affect residents particularly in the Grange lane and Skip lane areas between November 2011 & January 2012.
Protection Works to Utility Mains (above river crossing) will be set up in December 2011 and be completed by Mid January 2012
Herrenknecht Direct Pipe construction - delivery of plant expected to be in early Januray 2012
Product Pipe installation, testing and commissioning expected June to December 2012
Demobilisation of Site is expected in January 2013
